Suspected robbers killed in clash with Quezon City police
TWO suspected robbers were shot dead in an encounter in Quezon City on Wednesday night.
The two were on board their motorcycles when they reached a checkpoint along Scout Tobias Street, Roces Avenue at 8:48 p.m.
An initial police report showed that the suspects were allegedly involved in a robbery at Famous Kitchen along Tomas Morato just a few minutes before they were killed during a firefight with operatives of Kamuning Police Station (Station 10) in Barangay Paligsahan.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) chief Joselito Esquivel said the suspects remained unidentified.
