Appetite for satisfaction

By Rica Cruz

Hi Ms. Rica,
I have a very good sexual appetite kaya my boyfriend and I would have sex or oral sex every chance we get which is at least every other day. Pero I am a bit bothered why my boyfriend is very silent. Even when he orgasms. Sabi naman nya masarap daw and he enjoys it and his body language shows it naman. Should I worry why he’s so quiet? What does that mean?

Silent Killer

Dear Ms. Rica,
Whenever I have sex with my husband, natatawa sya when he comes. Normal po ba yon or kailangan ko bang mag-alala?

Laugh Out Loud

Silent Killer and Laugh Out Loud,
I am always happy to receive messages from people who are enjoying their sex lives. Keep it up girls! I decided to answer both of your questions at the same time because it clearly supports the fact na iba-iba ang reaction and expression ng iba’t ibang tao. As we can see in your questions, one is silent while the other one laughs during orgasm. Ang interesting ng contrast diba?

People have different expressions of their sexual enjoyment. But it is normal to laugh, cry or yung iba nga napapa-mura pa or napapa-OMG. Others naman, while they are quiet on the outside, pwedeng deep inside, napapa-moan at ipinagsisigawan na ang pangalan mo while they orgasm.

Ang behavior ng pagtawa during ejaculation ay isang normal after-effect of releasing tension na kasama ng pag-orgasm.

If you’re bothered with the laughter still, I think it is better to talk to your partner about this. Pwedeng magkaroon kayo ng ibang after-ejaculation response. Yung magiging mas confident ka sa response nya. Pwede kang magsuggest kung mas gusto mong gawin nya. Yung pwede syang magexpress at magrelease and magiging okay sayo.

Remaining silent, on the other hand may be a response naman of the fear of getting caught or someone knowing what is happening. Diba usually pag mga bata pa tayo, we are taught that sexual acts are very private and best kept as secrets. Pwedeng dun nanggagaling yung pagiging quiet nya. Let him know that he can relax and feel comfortable expressing his pleasure in the bedroom. Pwede ring take the initiative and be more expressive when you guys are having sex. This may make him more into with being more vocal or audible with his satisfaction.

Girls, communication is the key to this. Let your partner know what is bothering you or what is making you happy underneath the sheets. Like I said, mukhang happy naman kayo with your sex lives but every bit helps. Be open to your partners (in more ways than one!) Enjoy and be safe! #takeitfromthesexymind

With love and lust,

Rica
