Miaa: 10 flights cancelled by closure of Busuanga airport runway

More than 10 flights were affected by the runway closure in Busuanga, Coron, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said on Saturday.

According to Miaa as of 10 a.m., 14 local flights have been canceled after an aircraft of Skyjet Airlines overshot the runway of the Francisco B. Reyes Airport on Friday afternoon.

The following flights were affected of the cancellation.

DG 6057 Manila – Busuanga

DG 6058 Busuanga – Manila

DG 6043 Manila – Busuanga

DG 6044 Busuanga – Manila

Skyjet

M8 711 Manila – Busuanga

M8 712 Busuanga – Manila

M8 713 Manila – Busuanga

M8 714 Busuanga – Manila

M8 715 Manila – Busuanga

M8 716 Busuanga – Manila

In a separate advisory, the management of CebGo said that passengers could either rebook their flights or avail a refund.

The airline earlier announced that four of its afternoon flights were canceled due to the runway closure.  /muf
