Real estate giant Megaworld Corporation brought home five major awards in various innovation categories from the prestigious 2018 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards held recently in Hong Kong.
Megaworld won innovation in the use of video and Social Media for its #TownshipsAreUs: The Magic of Social Media Videos; innovation in consumer events for the Philippines’ biggest ‘Beary’ Merry Christmas on display; innovation in house organizations and publications for Inside World, the company’s internal e-newsletter: Megaworld’s Home of Digital Information; and innovation in community relations or public service communications for its Cause for a New Coast 2017: A Movement to Save the Island of Boracay.
The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards is the only award-giving body that recognizes innovation in the workplace throughout the entire 22-nation Asia-Pacific region. The awards are judged based on the average scores of more than 100 of the world’s most respected executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, and business educators.
The panel of judges considered more than 800 nominations about innovative achievements across the Asia-Pacific region mainly from 15 markets including Australia, mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam.
