DFA: No passport, consular services on June 12, 15

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Sunday advised the public that its passport and consular services will be suspended on June 12 and June 15.

The Philippines will celebrate Independence Day on June 12 while Filipino Muslims will observe Eid’l Fitr to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan on June 15.

The DFA said all consular offices across the country will be closed on the said dates.

Applicants with confirmed passport appointments on Friday, June 15, may be accommodated from June 18 to 19 (except Saturday) at their original site.

Applicants need to bring printed copies of their appointments along with other requirements. /ee
