Cops arrest suspect in attack that injured German bus passengers

Berlin — German police say several people have been injured on a busy bus in an attack in the northern city of Luebeck, and a suspect has been arrested.

Police spokesman Duerk Duerbrook said the attack occurred Friday in the Kuecknitz district of Luebeck. No further details were immediately available.

Duerbrook said authorities were still trying to determine the circumstances of the attack.

Local daily Luebecker Nachrichten reported, without giving a source, that two people were seriously injured and 12 others received minor injuries in the incident.   /vvp
