Drug pusher slain in alleged encounter in Lucena

LUCENA CITY – A suspected drug pusher was shot and killed in an alleged encounter with policemen here Saturday afternoon, police said.

Reynaldo “Loloy” Falcon, 52, was slain during a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Cotta around 2:45 p.m., Senior Supt. Osmundo de Guzman, Quezon police director, said.

Albacea, said the suspect sensed that he was dealing with an undercover cop during the transaction.

Falco reportedly shot the police officer but missed. The policeman returned fire to defend himself and killed the suspect on the spot.

Investigators were still at the crime scene as of press time.
