3 drug pushers killed in Camarines Sur buy-busts

LEGAZPI CITY – Three suspected illegal drug pushers were killed in separate drug operations in Camarines Sur province, a police report said on Saturday.

Police killed Noel Morillo, who resisted arrest, in a drug buy-bust operation at 8:35 a.m. Saturday in Barangay (village) Laganac in Balatan town, said Chief Inspector Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.

Meanwhile, Joselito Namia of Nabua town and Eric Escolano of Naga City fought it out with police and were killed at a drug buy-bust in Barangay Dolorosa in Nabua at 4:40 p.m. Friday.

Calubaquib said several sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) of undetermined weight and worth and three handguns of still unknown caliber were seized from all the drug operations. MAR S. ARGUELLES
