Cebu town councilor slain inside his sari-sari store

CEBU CITY – A municipal councilor in San Fernando town, south Cebu was shot dead inside his sari-sari store in Barangay Poblacion around 3 p.m. Thursday.
The police identified the victim as Rene Boy Dacalos.
Senior Insp. Arvi Arbuis, chief of the San Fernando Police Station, said they had yet to identify the four assailants who were reportedly on board two motorcycles.
“We don’t know the motive yet. We are still investigating,” said Arbuis./lzb
