Duterte names Makati judge as new Sandiganbayan justice

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has appointed a new justice of the Sandiganbayan anti-graft court.
In a transmittal letter to the Office of Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin, Duterte named Makati Regional Trial Court Judge Ronald Moreno who would replace Justice Alexander Gesmundo who was promoted to the Supreme Court.
He will sit as the junior member of the Sandiganbayan 3rd Division, which is hearing the plunder charges against former Senate president Juan Ponce Enrile and his chief of staff Jessica “Gigi” Reyes. JOMAR CANLAS
