MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives on Wednesday finally turned over P8-million worth of cash to the Philippine National Police (PNP), completing its P13-million share in the P50-million bounty for the speedy resolution of Ako Bicol Rep. Rodel Batocabe’s murder.

House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Negros Occidental 3rd District Rep. Alfredo Benitez, and Leyte 1st District Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez personally handed over the P8 million cash to PNP Director General Oscar Albayalde. The chamber had already given an initial P5 million to PNP.
