Another gun used vs Batocabe found

CAMP OLA, Albay – Another gun, a caliber .45 pistol allegedly used to assassinate Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Rodel Batocabe and his police escort, was recovered in a private fishpond in Purok 3, Barangay Busay, Ligao City at noon Wednesday.
Chief Insp. Malu Calubaquib, Philippine National Police Regional Office 5 spokesperson, said that SITG Batocabe, with the cooperation of a suspect, Christopher Naval, alyas “Tuping,” recovered the gun with serial number NEY 89334.
Calubaquib, also the spokesperson of SITG Batocabe, said that the gun had a magazine loaded with 10 live ammunition.
She said that according to Tuping, the gun was one of the two firearms used by the gunman Henry Yuzon.
The firearm will be submitted PNP Crime Laboratory Office 5 for ballistic and cross matching examination. (Nino Luces)
