5 drug suspects busted in Caloocan sting

MANILA, Philippines — Three drug pushers and two users were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 20, Caloocan City early Tuesday morning.
The Northern Police District (NPD) said that an undercover police officer was able to purchase a sachet of shabu for P500 from Demil Duque, 37; Alfred Flores, 33; and Sharoleen Duque, 33; all residents of the area.
Meanwhile, Josua Baetiong and Allan Sultan were arrested during the operation for possession several sachets of shabu.
Recovered from the three suspected pushers were six sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P28,000 and marked peso bills.
The five arrested suspects will be charged with  violation of sections of Article II (Unlawful Acts and Penalties) of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. / gsg
