A TAGUIG court ordered the arrest of actress-host Kris Aquino’s former business manager, a day after he was indicted for access device fraud.

Acting Presiding Judge Felix Reyes signed the arrest warrant against Nicko Falcis on March 8 and set his bail at P60,000. The court said Falcis violated Section 9 (j) (Obtaining money through an access device) of RA 8484 or the Access Device Regulation Act of 1998.

Assistant State Prosecutor Claire Pagayanan on Monday also indicted Falcis for estafa or swindling through misappropriation and conversion charges.

The indictment stemmed from Falcis’ alleged charging of more than P1 million to a bank corporate card under Aquino’s company KCAP without consent from the actress.

The case stemmed from several transactions made last year in Taguig amounting to P437,595.67 using the KCAP credit card.

Falcis denied the allegations and argued that he could use the credit card, which had his name on it.

The Access Devices Regulation Act prohibits the fraudulent use of an access device, which in this case was a credit card.
