PDEA nabs ‘major shabu supplier’ in Pampanga, Tarlac

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — A man suspected to be a “major supplier” of shabu (crystal meth) in Pampanga and Tarlac provinces has been arrested with P340,000 worth of the illegal drugs in Mabalacat City on Monday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Tuesday.
Edgardo Casayuran, 54, was cornered in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dau, said Gil Pabilona, director of PDEA in Central Luzon.
Casayuran, a resident of Pangasinan, yielded 17 sachets of shabu and a gun. No other information was released about him or his operations.
He is being held at the PDEA jail in this Pampanga capital while charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and illegal possession of firearms are being readied against him. Tonette Orejas
