Man survives gun attack in Las Piñas City

MANILA, Philippines — A man has survived a gun attack by a still unidentified suspect in Las Piñas City, police said Thursday.
According to the Las Piñas City Police, a lone gunman, using an unknown caliber of firearm, shot the victim identified as Roland Leonora Lasatin at around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim was rushed to Ospital ng Muntinlupa after the incident. Police said he is now in stable condition after sustaining gunshot wounds in his right thigh.
The gunman, meanwhile, fled toward an unknown direction after the incident. Police have yet to locate the gunman and identify the motive behind the crime. /kga
