ONE And Nielsen Bring Michael Phelps Back To SG For ‘What’s Next in Global Sports’

Michael Phelps, the world’s most decorated Olympian, will return to Southeast Asia next month.
This past Wednesday, 24 April, ONE Championship and Nielsen Sports announced the second annual “Nielsen Presents: What’s Next in Global Sports” thought leadership event, which is set for Singapore on Thursday, 16 May and Friday, 17 May.
Phelps, a 23-time Olympic gold medalist, will be the closing keynote speaker.
The two-day event will also feature the world’s top brands, sports stakeholders, agencies, and media personalities discussing the recent trends and developments in the bustling sports world.
Executives from Google, PGL Sports, Holcim Philippines, and Great Sports will be in attendance as they identify new strategies for global expansion of sports properties and sustainable revenue opportunities in sports, as well as share how they are using data to make smarter decisions around media rights and sponsorships.

This two-day event will kick off with a welcome gala dinner at the world-famous Gardens by the Bay on the 16th, and will be followed by the Sports Business Conference at the elegant Marina Bay Sands on the 17th.
The festivities will be wrapped up by ONE: ENTER THE DRAGON on the 17th, which will see ONE Lightweight World Champion Shinya Aoki defend his belt against Singapore’s own Christian Lee.
