Parts of NAIA Expressway to be closed for a week

MANILA, Philippines — Portions of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Expressway (NAIAX) will be closed to motorists this week due to maintenance work, the Skyway O&M Corp. (SOMCO) announced Sunday.
In an advisory, SOMCO said the portion of NAIAX leading to G. Puyat (Buendia) Avenue, Amorsolo Street, Don Bosco Technical Institute, and Edsa will be closed from 10 p.m. on Monday to 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
The portion of NAIAX leading to Bicutan, Sucat, Alabang, and South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), meanwhile, will be closed from 10 p.m. on Tuesday until 4 a.m. on Wednesday.
SOMCO advised motorists to take Sales Road as an alternate route.

Extra wide vehicles not allowed at NLEX Balintawak toll plaza
The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corp., meanwhile, announced that extra wide or oversized vehicles will be temporarily not allowed at the Balintawak toll plaza.
NLEX said asphalt repairs and excavation works will be conducted at Wide Lane N17 of the toll plaza.
Drivers of affected vehicles are advised to take as alternates the Mindanao and Karuhatan toll plazas to enter NLEX.
