Comelec proclaims 51 winning party-list groups

Fifty-one winning party-list groups in the recent elections were proclaimed by the Commission on Elections sitting as the National Board of Canvassers at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City last night.

The Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support, backed by Special Envoy to China Ramon Tulfo, topped the winning party-lists based on the final and official tally of the Comelec.

The ACT-CIS was guaranteed the maximum three seats after it surpassed the minimum requirement of at least two percent of total votes cast for party-list groups as mandated by the law. A total of 61 seats were intended for party-list representatives in the House.

Opposition Bayan Muna party-list ranked second and also secured three seats.

Other winning party-list groups which secured two seats each are Ako Bicol, Citizen’s Battle Against Corruption, Ang Probinsyano, 1Pacman, Marino, and Probinsyano Ako.

Guaranteed one seat each were Senior Citizens; Magsasaka; Apec; Gabriela; An Waray; Coop-Natcco; ACT Teachers; Philreca; Ako Bisaya; Tingog Sinirangan; Abono; Buhay; Duterte Youth; Kalinga; PBA; Alona; Recoboda; BH Bagong Henerasyon; Bahay; CWS; Abang Linkod; A Teacher; BHW; Sagip; TUCP; Magdalo;
