THE man known as “Bikoy” in a seriea of videos linking members of President Rodrigo Duterte’s family to illegal drug activities, was rushed to the hospital, a day after retracting his claims.

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Oscar Albayalde said.

Albayalde said “Bikoy”, Peter Joemel Advincula in real life, was taken to the PNP General Hospital after his blood pressure shot up and chest pains.

“His blood pressure shot up and said he felt nauseous so we sent him to the hospital,” Albayalde said in a press briefing on Friday.

Albayalde, however, said Advincula probably just needed rest.

Advincula surrendered on Wednesday to police and held a press briefing on Thursday morning in Camp Crame, where he said the allegations he made in the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos that went viral were orchestrated by the Liberal Party (LP) and key opposition figures.

Among them were Sen. Antonio Trillanes 4th, whom he claimed supervised the production, and Vice President Leonor “Leni”Robredo.

Robredo, Trillanes and the LP have denied Advincula’s allegations.
