Bikoy’s ‘unique’ talent amazes Lacson, says ‘hes on a roll’

SEN. Panfilo Lacson on Friday said he was amazed by the talent of Peter Joemel Advincula alias “Bikoy” in crafting lies.
The senator, chairman of the committee on public order and dangerous drugs, had canceled a scheduled public hearing on Advincula’s allegation that some of the family members and close associates of President Rodrigo Duterte receive payoffs from alleged drug syndicates amid questions on his credibility.
Advicula, the hooded man in the Bikoy video series, surfaced on May 6 at the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) and appealed to the people to allow him clarify his accusations against the President’s eldest son, Paolo “Polong” Duterte; son-in-law, Manases Carpio; and former special assistant now senator-elect Christopher “Bong” Go.
On Thursday, Advincula showed up at the Philippine National Police (PNP) and retracted his allegations against the First family and instead claimed that the Liberal Party, led by Vice President Leonor “Leni” Robredo, and opposition senators, led by Sen. Antonio Trillanes 4th, had plotted to oust Duterte.
“Bikoy has a unique talent. He can divide the world with the flip of his tongue,” Lacson said on Twitter.
“From IBP to the PNP, he completed a successful Yellow vs DDS dry run. With his flip-flopping lies, he’s on a roll,” Lacson said. BERNADETTE E. TAMAYO
