Duterte to appoint Nolcom’s Salamat as next MWSS chief

SANGLEY POINT, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte will appoint Lieutenant General Emmanuel Salamat, chief of the military’s Northern Luzon Command, as the next Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) head.
Duterte disclosed about this impending appointment of Salamat in his speech during the 121st Philippine Navy Anniversary here.
Salamat is set to retire on July 15. He will replace retired general Ricardo Morales as MWSS administrator. (Editor: Katherine G. Adraneda)
