The infrastructure projects of the Philippine Sports Commission can now go in full swing.

This came after PAGCOR Chairwoman Andrea Domingo handed the check amounting to P854 million to PSC Chairman Butch Ramirez yesterday at the PAGCOR office.

The money will be used in the modernization of the Ninoy Aquino Stadium which hosted several international events in the past.

Also lined up for rehabilitation are the football and track oval inside the vast Rizal Sports Complex and the Multi-purpose Arena (formerly Philsports Arena) in Pasig City.

“We are trying to give you as much as we can,” said Domingo.

Ramirez said once the renovation projects are over, it would be a lasting legacy of PAGCOR under the watch of Domingo.

“This is very sentimental for PSC because those structures have never been rehabilitated in this way,” said Ramirez, who was accompanied by PSC Executive Director Merly Ibay.
