ILOILO CITY—Classes up to senior high school were suspended here and several towns of Iloilo province on Monday (July 1) due to heavy monsoon rains that triggered flooding.

Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas suspended classes in public and private schools up to senior high school.

Among the towns that suspended classes were Miag-ao, Pavia, Leganes, San Joaquin, Oton and Alimodian. (Editor: Tony Bergonia)
