EARIST grad tops Architect Licensure Exam

MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday said 2,104 out of 3,172 passed the Architect Licensure Examination given in June.
John Vincent Rojo Lopez, a graduate of Eulogio (Amang) Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) topped the exam with a rating of 84.90 percent.
Lopez was followed by Ben John Canonigo Lazo from University of Pangasinan (84.50 percent); Jillianne Salinas Espinosa and Marc Chialor Bance Orgado, both from University of Santo Tomas (84.30 percent); and Audrey Eunice Diola Rillorta from Saint Louis University (83.90 percent).
The University of Santo Tomas was hailed as the top-performing school after 195 out of 210 exam takers from the university, a passing percentage of 92.86 percent, passed the exam.
The examination was given last June 28 and 30 in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi and Zamboanga.
