Two dogs save owner from sexual assault in cemetery

Two dogs became unlikely heroes after rescuing their owner from an attempted sexual assault in a cemetery in Melbourne, Australia.

The unidentified man attacked the woman, going by the alias Kate, from behind as she took her dogs to the cemetery for a walk at around 8:30 p.m. last June 29, as per The Age today, July 10.

The attacker held the victim to the ground and attempted to pull her pants down. As she started screaming, the two dogs, RuPaul and Louie, came to her aid and “viciously” attacked the man.

The woman was eventually able to break free from the man’s grasp while the shih tzu and terrier-cross were striking him.

“They viciously attacked him – growling, biting and, I think with my screaming and the struggling, it made him stop,” Kate was quoted as saying.

By the time she had gotten on her feet, the man was also able to escape the animals and fled the scene of the crime.

It is unknown if the man sustained injuries from the dogs’ attack. As per report, police have yet to find the suspect. Ryan Arcadio/JB
