Pernia hopes Duterte to certify proposed economic measures ‘urgent’

SOCIOECONOMIC Planning Planning Secretary Ernesto Pernia hopes President Rodrigo Duterte to certify his proposed economic measures as urgent during the fourth State of the Nation Address on Monday.
At the Batasang pambansa in Quezon City.
In an interview by The Manila Times, Pernia said that these measures were designed to accelerate growth.
Pernia said these proposals included amendments to the Public Service Act, Foreign Investments Act, and Retail Trade Liberalization Act, and the remaining packages of the Comprehensive Tax Reform Program. MAY CARABALLO, JAN ARCILLA
