Almay

Brow Styler Brow Mascara

They say: A “flake-free” brow mascara from Almay that provides natural colour and shape without any “crunchy” feel. The formula boasts a blend of natural oils including Marula to smooth the hairs. Available in three tinted shades and one clear coat. The formula is billed as being “hypoallergenic, ophthalmologist tested, fragrance free, clean, and cruelty free.”

We say: This brow mascara is easy to use. Our tester found it applied well and instantly defined brows. The formula is comfortable and isn’t too thick (no clumps here!). While our tester found the applicator brush could have been a bit shorter, the extra-slim style of the wand made adding just enough product to brows a mess-free experience.

EOS

Organic Stick Lip Balm (Dual Pack)

They say: A two-pack of lip balms that are “delightfully flavoured” and feature vitamin E, shea butter and jojoba oil to soothe lips while delivering antioxidants and super soft, smooth “beautiful” lips.

We say: Our tester is already a fan of the EOS lip formulas, but not the biggest fan of the round lip balm orbs the company has become known for. The round pots aren’t exactly pants-pocket friendly. This balm boasts more streamlined packaging, and leaves lips feeling moisturized and smooth. Plus, the new lavender latte and sweet grapefruit additions to the stick line do not disappoint.

Lise Watier

Cooling Deep Hydration Mask

They say: A face mask from the Canadian brand Lise Watier that features Gaspé Algae Extract, Red Algae, Shea butter and Glycerin to “deeply hydrate,” plum and soften skin.

We say: This face mask left our tester’s skin feeling and looking instantly more hydrated and soothed. The formula is mess-free and we love that it doesn’t have to be washed off but rather removes with a cotton pad. Given the easy of application removal, and the 75-mL packaging, this may be the perfect inflight — and post-flight — face mask.
