Trudeau, Scheer campaign in Metro Vancouver today

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau and Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer are in battleground B.C. today, spending the day before the long weekend campaigning for the federal election in Metro Vancouver.
Trudeau will be in Ottawa before he heads to Surrey Friday for a talk on education affordability at Simon Fraser University bookstore at 2 p.m.
He will then attend a campaign stop with Liberal candidates Sara Badiei and Ron McKinnon at an unspecified location in Port Coquitlam. Trudeau will wrap up the day in Burnaby at Element Vancouver Metrotown for a 7 p.m. rally.
Scheer, meantime, will be presenting his party’s platform at noon Friday at Tsawwassen Springs golf course in Tsawwassen.
He will also be in Langley at 6 p.m. for a rally at Krause Berry Farms.
Canadians will vote Oct. 21. Advance polling is already underway.
