Duterte fell off motorcycle, says Sen Go

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte fell off his motorcycle while on his way out of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) Compound in Malacañang on Wednesday evening, his former top aide said on Thursday.
“Duterte sumemplang kagabi habang nagmo-motor palabas ng PSG compound (Duterte crashed his motor last night while on his way out of PSG compound),” Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go told reporters in a text message.
The accident happened after Duterte attended a launching ceremony of a coal power plant in Taguig City.
Go said the President, 74, felt pain in his hips following the accident.
As of Thursday morning, Go said Duterte was resting at Bahay ng Pagbabago, his official residence in Malacañang. CATHERINE S. VALENTE
