Man found shot in Abbotsford on Tuesday evening

A man is in hospital after being shot in Abbotsford on Tuesday night.
In a prepared statement, Abbotsford Police Department spokesperson Const. Jody Thomas said police were called to the 31700-block of South Fraser Way at 7:25 p.m. with reports of shots being fired.
Thomas said a man in his early 20s was found at the scene with gunshot wounds and had been transported to hospital.
At 10 p.m., South Fraser Way remained closed between Hilltout St and Janzen St and to the north to Union Ave.
