Earthquakes hit Quezon, Negros

Two earthquakes struck the nation on Monday in two different areas.
At 4:35 a.m., a magnitude 4 tectonic earthquake was recorded near Jomalig, Quezon.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said no damage was recorded and no aftershocks were expected.
Meanwhile, in Negros Oriental, three earthquakes were recorded: A magnitude 2 at 3:18 a.m., a 3.9 magnitude at 4:05 a.m., and a 1.8 magnitude at 4:33 a.m.
The epicenter was located near Luzurriaga (Valencia) in Negros Oriental.
Intensity 4 was recorded at the epicenter, while Intensity 3 was felt at nearby Sibulan, Negros Oriental. ARIC JOHN SY CUA
