When: July 24 – 26

Tickets and info: $159 early-bird passes on sale Thurs., Nov. 21, 10 a.m. at constellationfest.ca

The Squamish Constellation Festival returns to Hendrickson Field for a second year July 24 to 26. On Thursday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m., early-bird passes for the weekend event will be on sale starting at $159 (plus service charges and fees) in limited quantities.

Festival co-founder and CEO Tamara Stanners said the inaugural event in 2019 was a success at all levels: “Everyone had such an amazing time. Our first year was a dream come true — for the fans, the artists and all levels of production — we exceeded everyone’s expectations and we can’t wait to do it all again next summer.”

Presented by Aquila Constellation Festival Productions, the festival brought a large-scale weekend music event back to Squamish after the previous Squamish Music Festival was shelved by producers in 2016. Four local Squamish-based producers put together the new event, which featured a wide range of name acts such as Dear Rouge and Jessie Reyez as well as up-and-coming talent such as Art d’Ecco and the Modelos, Jessicka and the Hunting. The 2020 festival aims for 40 bands, a songwriters’ workshop, mural painting and more.

The first Squamish Constellation Festival was certified by AWARE as the largest zero-waste festival in B.C. with a 94 per cent diversion rate.

The lineup for the 2020 event will start to be released when the general admission passes go on sale after Feb. 28.

A layaway option is available with five tiers of weekend pass prices. Once the $159 early-bird passes are gone, prices go up in increments until the three-day pass at the gate price, which will be $279 plus charges.
