Man hit by train in Surrey dies in hospital

A man who was hit by a train in Surrey Wednesday night has died in hospital.
Surrey RCMP say officers were called out to a collision involving a train and a pedestrian at 53rd Avenue and 184th Street shortly before 7:30 p.m.
Mounties say the man was taken to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. Later Thursday, they said he had died from his injuries.
Investigators are seeking witnesses and are asking anyone with information to call police.
