Senior citizens, PWDs can find work in Pasay

SENIOR citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) will now have a chance to work in Pasay City, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano announced on Thursday.
During her speech in a job fair at the Cuneta Astrodome, Calixto-Rubiano said she was happy that senior citizens and PWDs who were still able to work could still maximize their skills.
“Tuwang-tuwa ako na marami nang senior citizens and persons with disabilities na makakapagtrabaho dito po sa lungsod ng Pasay,” Calixto-Rubiano said.
The Pasay City government inked a deal with a popular fastfood chain, which would hire 42 senior citizens and PWDs in 14 of its branches in the city. JAN ARCILLA
