VPD investigating after senior struck by car in Vancouver

A 70-year-old Vancouver man was hit by a car overnight in the area of Broadway and Cambie streets.

Vancouver police say the pedestrian was struck just before 1 a.m. The driver of the vehicle stayed and is cooperating with police.

VPD spokesman Sgt. Aaron Roed says the man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate to determine what caused the collision.
