Vancouver weather: Brace for more snow

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Jan. 14, 2020 – Tuesday’s weather will see more snow hitting various parts of the Metro Vancouver region.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement on Tuesday morning, warning of snow.

The snow comes in several rounds, the first of which arrives early Tuesday, followed by a second system of snow in the evening.

“The Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley will also see snow tonight with amounts of 5 to 10 cm expected by Wednesday morning and an additional few cm’s during the day Wednesday,” read the statement.

Today: Mainly cloudy with 60 percent chance of flurries. Windy over southern sections. High minus 5. Wind chill near minus 14.

Tonight: Snow. Amount 5 to 10 cm. Windy over southern sections. Temperature rising to minus 4 by morning. Wind chill near minus 12.

Tomorrow: Cloudy. Periods of snow beginning in the morning. Amount 5 cm. Wind east 30 km/h except 60 near the Strait of Georgia. High plus 1. Wind chill minus 11 in the morning.
