When: Feb 5-15

Where: Improv Centre

Tickets: From $10.75, at vtsl.com

1. The Love of Your Life. This improvised “true romance” format is a Vancouver TheatreSports original (it was developed by former artistic director Denise Jones) that premiered at last year’s Vancouver Fringe Festival. In it, a host interviews a couple from the audience, then leaves the company’s improvisers to interpret their relationship and recreate key moments in their lives. In the second half, the show takes suggestions from the audience to project what the future holds for them. (Feb. 5-8, 12-13 and 15 at 7:30 p.m.)

2. OK Tinder. Just how bad, or ridiculous, is Vancouver for singletons? See what VTS and your fellow audience members have to say in what the media release promises is “60 minutes of fast-paced, no-holds-barred comedy looking at the good, bad, and laughably ludicrous of Vancouver’s notorious dating scene.”

3. The Late Show and Frisky Friday. The kid gloves come off in these adults-only performances. In Frisky Friday, audience suggestions spur the improvisers to explore the funny side of you-name-it (but not in front of the children). In The Late Show, ensemble members create scenarios that explore mature themes, content and language.

4. Valentine’s Day. On the day of love, Vancouver TheatreSports is offering two special events. In Love Matches, the Goddess of Love Aphrodite descends from the heavens (or rafters) to referee “GQpid,” improv couples battling in an audience-inspired competition (7:30 and 9:30 p.m.). That night, VTS also hosts a two-hour improv workshop for couples (7-9 p.m.).

5. Discounts for groups of 10 or more. Get together with your fellow singles, Tinder dates, co-workers (well, maybe not,  and maybe even a happy loving couple (they’re out there) and hit a show with a group for even more mirth and merriment.
