IHIT called in after body found in Abbotsford

Abbotsford police report that a body was found roadside in the 37000-block of Keeping Road at about 1:40 p.m. on Saturday.
Abotsford’s major crimes unit remained at the scene in the early stages of the investigation and are treating the case as suspicious, said Sgt. Judy Bird in a release.
The Abbotsford Police Major Crime Unit will be transitioning this investigation over to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT). Anyone with information about this incident should call the IHIT Tip Line at 1-877-551-4448 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
