P12.1M in illegal drugs seized in Metro Manila

A total of P12.1 million worth of illegal drugs have been confiscated in various operations in Metro Manila, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) reported.
Maj. Gen. Debold Sinas said 549 anti-illegal drug operations were conducted from February 14 to 16.
“Out of three days ng operation, ito na po yung result ng nahuli namin [this is the result of our arrests],” Sinas told the reporters in a press briefing on Tuesday.
In the three-day operation, 1,273 persons were arrested by operatives, Sinas added.
Sinas assured the public that the anti-illegal drug operations in Metro Manila would continue. DARWIN PESCO
