THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Thursday announced that food delivery in Metro Manila is now 24/7.
MMDA General Manager Undersecretary Jojo Garcia said the Metro Manila mayors, through the Metro Manila Council (MMC), allowed the 24/7 operations of fast food chains and restaurants now that more businesses have opened under the general community quarantine (GCQ).
“Good news for our economic team, our Metro Manila mayors, majority of them, have allowed fast food chains to open 24 hours for deliveries,” said Garcia during a Palace briefing.
Garcia said the decision was reached in an MMC meeting on Wednesday night.
Garcia said the 24/7 delivery was especially for Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR) “so that they have somewhere to go”.
