Inspiring immigrant women in Finance

Canadian Immigrant’s Immigrant Women of Inspiration feature turns 10! This year, we are inviting nominations for the annual Immigrant Women of Inspiration feature.

This year, the spotlight is on immigrant women in finance who are contributing to strengthening the Canadian banking and financial sector. These women have embraced their position of influence to bring about positive impact on our economy. In their own ways, they have committed to leading and inspiring others to do more! A selection of these women will be featured in the March/April 2023 issue of the Magazine, and on our website.

If you are or have a suggestion of an immigrant woman in Canada who has inspired others in the community, served as a leader in the the banking and financial industry, please fill out the nomination form below by March 3, 2023! And yes, you can nominate yourself!

About our annual Women of Inspiration feature

In honour of International Women’s Day, each March, Canadian Immigrant has been recognizing some truly inspirational immigrant women in Canada.

Several women are selected annually by a Canadian Immigrant judging panel for their achievements and influence in their area of expertise of sphere of influence. A new theme or category is chosen annually.

Since 2014, women have been chosen in the areas of: female empowerment (2014)entrepreneurship (2015)academia (2016)arts (2017)immigrant women advocates (2018)women of influence (2019;  changemakers (2020), heroes on the frontlines of the pandemic (2021) and immigrant women in science and technology (2022).
