SBMA recovers 5 stolen vehicles

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — Local authorities recovered, on Wednesday night (March 8), five allegedly stolen vehicles from a truck yard inside this free port as officials of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) began investigating reports of a wide-scale car rental scam here. Backed by Olongapo policemen and agents of the National Bureau of Investigation, the SBMA law enforcers seized the vehicles from the Ichiban yard at 8 p.m. after days of surveillance from authorities, said SBMA Administrator Wilma Eisma.
