Plastic bag disrupts MRT 3 operations
Operations of the Manila Light Rail line 3 (MRT-3) were stopped on Tuesday afternoon after a plastic bag was found hanging on one of its messenger wires, MRT-3 management said in an advisory. According to the advisory, the plastic bag was found hanging on the messenger wire between the southbound lane of Santolan and Ortigas stations past 2 p.m. The overhead messenger wire supplies the train with electricity.
