MANILA, Philippines (First published on May 12, 2025; 5:30 a.m.) — Filipinos nationwide made their votes count on Monday, May 12, as the country held a crucial midterm elections.
A total of 64 candidates competed for 12 available seats in the Senate.
Meanwhile, 156 party-list groups were certified by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to compete for 63 party-list seats in the House of Representatives.
