AFTER an intense few weeks of news bits surrounding Sarah Geronimo and actor-athlete Matteo Guidicelli’s secret wedding, at least one of the controversies connected to the controversy has just been settled.

Geronimo’s bodyguard, Jerry Tamara, accused Guidicelli of punching and accusing him of tipping off his wife’s now infamous mom, Divine, for gatecrashing their wedding. While Guidicelli maintained he never punched Tamara in both interviews and social media posts, Tamara, who eventually filed a blotter on the actor with the Taguig Police, has apparently agreed to drop the issue after Geronimo’s management company, Viva Communications, offered a P200,000-settlement.

In a video posted on the “Raffy Tulfo in Action” YouTube channel, the host–who landed an exclusive interview with the bodyguard shortly after the secret wedding, declared–“Case closed”.

In the uploaded video, Tulfo showed text messages form Tamara who said he and Viva had worked things out. This was after he, along with Tulfo, were filmed by the YouTube channel’s crew going to the office of Viva Founder and Chairman Vic del Rosario who is Geronimo’s de facto godfather and manager.

A closed-door meeting then ensued where, as the YouTube report continued, Tamara had asked for P1.5 million to settle the controversy. Del Rosario countered with P100,000-offer before both parties agreed at P200,000.

Tamara and Guidicelli have maintained their respective versions of the alleged punching incident.
