Spot the lie in this game of guesses with “Someone, Someday” stars Dimples, Daniela, McCoy and Rita

You already know that the star-studded cast of “Someone, Someday” delivered incredibly immersive performances in every episode, making it such a refreshing sight to see them off-screen when they’re totally different from their emotionally-charged characters. McCoy de Leon’s tricky persona as Caloy took a rest, but his playfulness stood out as he enthusiastically revealed his personal facts, mentioning that his favorite food is tocino, he studied civil engineering, and he has one small permanent tattoo. 

Both Rita Avila and Daniela Stranner picked his love for tocino as the lie, while Dimples Romana smoothly opted for the tattoo. Ultimately, Dimples succeeded in the first round since McCoy didn’t have any tattoos on his body at all. “Alam na alam mo na talaga ‘pag matagal mo nang kaibigan,” Dimples quipped.  

As for Rita, who effortlessly plays the resentful Mariela in the show, she adorably shared that she likes sleeping, crowds, and animals. It wasn’t long before everyone in the group correctly guessed her preference for crowds as the quite apparent lie, especially since she’s actually an introvert.  

Contrary to her convincing portrayal of Valerie’s diva personality, Daniela appeared demure throughout the interview as she specified her favorite food choices: liver, watermelon, and pomelo. Eventually, Dimples and McCoy incorrectly answered “pomelo,” leaving Rita to triumph with her accurate assumption that Daniela dislikes liver.  

During the last level, Dimples naturally mirrored the warmth of her character Precious, happily naming pink as her best-loved color, her past stint as a UAAP courtside reporter for UST, and her academic background as a former tourism student there alongside her culinary arts studies at Enderun Colleges. Everyone then followed McCoy the second he pointed out the first statement as Dimples’ lie. 

“Okay naman sakin ‘yung pink kaya lang kasi suot-suot ko na ngayon,” Dimples joked, confirming her castmates’ answers.
