LISTEN: Angela Ken releases new song ‘tayo lang.’

MANILA — OPM singer-songwriter Angela Ken has released “tayo lang,” her latest single under Tarsier Records.

The song is out now on various streaming platforms, while the lyric video has been uploaded on Tarsier Records’ YouTube channel.

Composed by Ken, “tayo lang” was produced by Shadiel Chan, Ken Jezer Umahon and Abner Badua.

Previously, she said she wrote the new song when she was only 18.

“I wrote that when I was 18. So it’s been seven years in the making din siya. Pinagtibay din siya ng panahon ‘yung kantang ‘yon. Isa ‘yon sa exciting na aabangan ng mga angels. So ayon nakakakaba pero ang saya, sobrang saya po,”  Ken said.

Ken released the song ahead of her concert on October 18 at the New Frontier Theater.

Early this year, she released her extended play titled “Panahon.”

Ken, who hails from Imus, Cavite, shot to fame with her song “Ako Naman Muna.” She released her first-ever album with its key track “Payapa Lang” in November 2022.
