As Gabo (Coco Martin) and his friends notice that the barber can’t help himself from frantically shaking as he’s about to start cutting his hair, Gabo suddenly stands up from the barber’s chair and assertively asks him if he really knows what he’s doing. He takes off the barber cape and throws it to the frightened barber.

Thus, to make sure that the barber is really skilled in haircutting, Gabo suggests that his friends better go first. Apparently, none of them are willing to put their crowning glories at risk, with each of them coming up with various alibis. Since that’s the case, Tekla (Sue Ramirez) comes up with the idea of having them play “maiba taya” to determine who among them will be the “guinea pig” or test subject.

Unfortunately for Daboy (Mammoth), who is actuallt the most excited to play “Maiba Taya,” he ends up being “it” because his palm is the only one facing down while everyone else has their palms facing up.

He obviously doesn’t want to do it as well, but Daboy has no choice but to follow Gabo’s instructions and let his friends push him toward the chair. As the barber begins shaving off his hair, Gabo jokingly consoles Daboy, assuring him that he will look handsome with his new haircut and telling him to just trust that outcome will be good.
