P-Pop artist Sphere passes away; group releases statement
Sphere of P-Pop group ECHO passed away earlier this week as announced by his group on their social media accounts. Members of the boy group paid tribute to the singer, whose real name is Jaspher Cabangon.
His cause of death hasn’t been disclosed as of this writing.
“With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved ECHO Sphere. At this time, we humbly ask everyone to give his family, loved ones, and the ECHO members the privacy and space they need to grieve,” ECHO shared.
The members of ECHO assured their fans that Sphere will continue to be part of the group as they remembered all the good things he has given them and the fans.
“Sphere will always be remembered for the light, warmth, and joy he brought to the people around him. His presence will forever remain a part of ECHO and in the hearts of everyone who came to know and love him,” the statement added.
“Rest peacefully, Sphere. We love you,” they ended.
Prior to his passing, the singer was previously admitted to the hospital and had to take a temporary break from the group to focus on his recovery.
“During this time, we kindly ask everyone to respect Sphere’s privacy and allow him the time and space he needs to rest and recover. WE also appreciate the continued understanding and support of the ECHO community as we prioritize his well-being,” they previously shared.
The P-Pop community expressed their condolences and are grieving over the loss of the upcoming talent who just made his debut with the group back in August. Fans of ECHO shared how surprised they were with the tragic passing of Sphere.
“OH NO, SPHERE!!! Gone too soon!! My condolences to Sphere’s fam,” a fan wrote.
“Our hearts go out to Echo Sphere’s family, relatives and team ECHO PH during this time of sorrow. 🤍 R.I.P. Sphere,” another fan added.
Details of Sphere’s funeral have yet to be announced by the family or his company as of this writing.
